In India, parathas lovers are found in every home. Some eat it as breakfast, while others enjoy it during dinner. An eatery in Jaipur has recently challenged such lovers to an unimaginable extent. It serves a 32-inch paratha; now, it has challenged foodies to complete two such parathas in one hour. If successful, then they can win Rs 1 lakh. This paratha is also known as the world’s largest paratha. This shop is named Jaipur Paratha Junction, and is located on Vijay Path, New Sanganer Road of Mansarovar in Jaipur. People are often surprised to see the size of this paratha. Apart from 32-inch, 18-inch parathas are also available here. A total of 74 varieties of parathas are made at Jaipur Paratha Junction. The challenge is valid only for the 32-inch paratha.

This 32-inch paratha is the largest at Jaipur Paratha Junction and is known as Bahubali; three types of chutney, raita, pickle and vegetables are served along with it. As per the staff of the eatery, 8 people can comfortably eat this paratha. Along with the prize reward for eating two 32-inch parathas, the winner will also receive lifetime free parathas at the Jaipur Paratha Junction.

This challenge seems tempting and easy, but many customers have given up mid-way or have failed. While talking to Local18, Satendra Singh, head cook of this restaurant said that 32-inch paratha requires a lot of effort. To make this paratha, a 5-foot tawa is used, whose weight is more than 50 kg. “To make this paratha, you need a big rolling pin of 40 inches,” said Satendra Singh. He also claims that this paratha is prepared from 20 types of items. It requires two people to cook at the paratha. It is first put on the pan and is cooked on high and low flame. After this, butter is applied on both sides of the paratha. After the paratha is ready, it is cut into a big plate and served with various types of chutneys.

The price of this 32-inch paratha is Rs 800. It has different categories of paratha such as regular, medium, larger, and extra large. There are many varieties of parathas like potato, onion, cabbage, paneer, cheese, fenugreek and others that are served in this restaurant.
