HYDERABAD: A 60yearold woman and her 9yearold grand daughter were found dead under suspicious circumstances at their residence near Aurora college in Chikkadapally in the city on Friday.
Police suspect it to be a murder which took place a few days ago but, came to light only on Friday. Police officials said, a few unidentified miscreants who had allegedly entered the duo's house with an intention to burgle, have committed the murder.ACP central zone K Chakrapani said, "We suspect the involvement of unidentified miscreants in the murder who must have planned to burgle the house and hence, ended up in killing the duo."

At around 12.30 p.m on Friday, the house owner, Ramesh, noticed a foul smell emanating from the house and traced the smell to old woman's house, who was staying along with her grand daughter. Reportedly, he found both of them lying on the ground.

"We shifted the deceased to Gandhi General Hospital for a postmortem," ACP Chakrapani added.
