It has been a while since Telugu actor Ravi Teja has been going through a lean patch.
One flop after the other has seriously dented his career graph.
Last year, even a commercial director like Puri Jagannadh could not give him the much needed hit.
He began 2012 with Gunasekhar's 'Nippu'. It was not only a staggering flop but got sharp reviews all of which railed against it.
In May, Daruvu was almost worse than the scorching heat.
However, the actor's 'Devudu Chesina Manushulu' was received with total disappointment, as it had neither a story nor a performance to write about. It was clear that Puri allowed his actor to sleepwalk through a routinely sketchy role.
There seemed some hope for the Mass Maharaja, who tried to do a class act in Parushuram's 'Saaroccharu'.
But it was such a disaster that he must have realized that he should never allow his director to respectfully call him 'Saar'.
However, this year, we will see the actor in 'Balupu' and much more films.
Well, on that note we wish the actor a very happy and a successful year ahead!
