Water Bills by SMS from December 1

HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board will stop issuing water bills on paper to the seven lakh odd consumers in Greater Hyderabad.It will, instead, send the monthly bills via SMS to the cell phones of consumers. The bills for November will be sent in the new format from December 1.Consumers have been asked to register their mobile phone numbers with the board immediately so that they can get the November bills by Green Channel in the first week of December and opt for ebill to protect environment.
