V-sign follows Naidu everywhere

Though TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu has given up his trademark victory sign and now greets people with folded hands during the Vasthunna Meekosam padayatra, TDP activists as well as general public still flash the V sign with their fingers at the sight of him.

Commencing the eighth day of padayatra from Narayanaupuram cross on Tuesday, he went to Yerrampalle cross and Kalyanadurgam, where he unveiled the statue of TDP founder NT Rama Rao.

At Kalyanadurgam, Congress activists too welcomed Naidu with the V symbol when his padayatra passed by the minister’s residence.

After covering Kalyanadurgam constituency, Naidu entered Uravakonda constituency at Dodagatta, where he unveiled the statue of NTR. Later, he visited Chapiri Tanda, Madireddipalle and made his night halt at Virupapalle.

Naidu promised to include Valmikis in SCs. Urging the government to organise Valmiki Jayanthi on October 29 as a state programme, he said he would write to the government to this effect.
