Vishwakarma Puja: Worshipping the Hindu God of creation

Kolkata: Vishwakarma is the presiding Hindu deity of all craftsmen, architects, mechanics and technicians. He is believed to have fabricated and designed the divine architecture of the universe.

As a mark of reverence, he is not only worshipped by the engineering and architectural community but also by all professionals who worship their tools in his name.

Vishwakarma puja is usually held on September 17 and is specially popular in West Bengal, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
