Mumbai: Dabur Mumbai Magicians' forward Glenn Turner on Tuesday said a tough challenge awaits them in the next match where the face a confident Uttar Pradesh Wizards but will try their best to secure a win on home turf in the second edition of the Hero Hockey India League here on Wednesday.

"I think every game in this league is going to be very tough. Every team is pretty close. Even last year when we won one game, every game was pretty close. Tomorrow's match is going to be tough because they (Uttar Pradesh Wizards) are going to come in with a lot of confidence after their win (over Ranchi Rhinos). We will come with a lot of fight tomorrow and in front of our home fans, hopefully we can get a win," the Australian striker said.

Mumbai finished with the wooden spoon in the last edition and has made 11 changes in the squad but Turner said the team is gelling well this year and has got some experienced players in their side. The Uttar Pradesh franchise, on the other hand, had stunned defending champions Ranchi Rhinos 3-2 in their league opener.

Ace hockey player Prabhjot Singh, , who is part of the Mumbai franchise, praised 18-year-old Gurjinder Singh and said he is the best upcoming drag-flicker in the country. "He is a very good drag-flicker. He has done well in every match and even in the national team. He is the best upcoming drag-flicker from the national side. He is scoring in every match. We have been playing for a long time and have a good combination," Prabhjot said.

The veteran striker, who at present is serving a three month ban for an altercation in the Surjit Singh Hockey tournament, said he will be able to play after January 31. "This is a lucky ground (Mumbai Hockey Association) for me. Whenever I have played here. I have performed well.

Unfortunately, I won't be playing here tomorrow because I am still banned. I have a ban for two matches, so I will play from February 1. We will do well in the coming matches," he said.

Mumbai were thrashed 3-5 by Jaypee Punjab Warriors in their first game and goal keeper P R Sreejesh said: "We did not committ huge mistakes in the defense. We committed small small errors -- markings in the inside circle or making a pass to the defender. So these kind of small mistakes turned into a goal. We have to focus more on that and we will rectify those mistakes in upcoming matches," he said.
