Unauthorised structures demolished

TIRUPATI: A team of corporation officials, led by municipal commissioner T Prasad, demolished four unauthorised constructions in the temple town on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, Prasad said people should take permission from the municipal corporation for construction of G+2 buildings. The municipal corporation officials found 25 structures in the town which were built in deviation of the approved plan.
All the structures would be demolished in the coming days. Power, water and drainage connections to the buildings would be disconnected if the owners violated town planning rules. He urged people to cooperate with the Municipal Corporation of Tirupati in promoting planned growth of the famous pilgrim town.
