TV talk: Tele stars' favourite holiday destinations
When these stars are off sets, they sure know how to have a good time.

They are at the sets all day, working hard to bring you your daily dose of entertainment. But when tele stars are off sets, they sure know how to have a good time.

We spoke to some television stars and asked them about their favourite spot in the whole world to unwind, and here's what they had to say.

Shweta Kawaatra

Actor

My friends and I make an annual trip to New York every year. I don't really know the reason why I like to go there, in fact that's the question I ask myself whenever I am there.

We prefer having a good time just hanging around than clubbing.

My trip there consists of having fun with friends, enjoying Mexican food and coming back with hands full of shopping bags!

Akashdeep Sehgal

Actor

For me, a holiday means a trip to Bali. I can go there anytime of the year. The climate is simply amazing.

I love the water sports there; it is a surfer's paradise! And when I am off the beach you will find me shopping. Bali's got some great stuff.

Besides partying at the nightclubs, I love hanging around at Kutar Street and enjoy the food at Hard Rock Café.

Ronit Roy

Actor

Whenever I need a holiday, I hit Goa! It's the best place to relax. And each time I go there it is a different experience.

Being a family man and not a party person at all, I love to go there for a peaceful time with my wife and kids. I avoid the tourist crowd around December and prefer enjoying the rains in Goa.

Rajeshwari Sachdev

Actor, anchor

One of my best holidays was when my husband, Varun and I escaped a busy schedule and took a two-day leave to Goa. All we did there was sleep in our hotel room and eat by the beach.

I make sure that we go during off-season because during season time we come across so many familiar faces that I feel like I am at work again.

Shruti Seth

Actor, VJ

Even though Mumbai is buzzing with energy, when I escape for a holiday I prefer New York, which is equally buzzing. There's nothing like clubbing in New York.

The food is great but I love this chocolate place called 'Chocolate by the Bald Man'. Everything there is made of chocolate; it just fascinates me.

Whenever I go there I never miss out on hanging around with friends at Times Square. It is definitely not a place to relax because it is filled with energy and everyone is always in a rush.

Aarshiya Fakih

Fashion designer

A holiday for me is time away from work, alone with my husband. And the Maldives is perfect for that.

The beaches of the Maldives are romantic and very relaxing. When I'm there, I make sure I pamper myself with a massage and spend hours in the Jacuzzi.

The exotic cuisine completes my holiday experience.
