HYDERABAD: TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao has taken strong objection to state government's orders detaining its leader Cheruku Sudhakar under NSA and called up on all sections of Telangana society to observed Wednesday as protest day. The government issued orders for detention of Sudhakar, who was arrested by the Nalgonda police for Maoist links, under the National Security Act for 12 months.
Rao termed Sudhakar's detention as illegal and undemocratic, and urged his party cadre to stage rasta roko and employees to observe protest day by wearing black badges. Former minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy also condemned the government's decision and called upon Telangana ministers to work for revocation of the order.
