Local18 has brought a unique dessert recipe called Jackfruit Kesari Bath from the state of Karnataka. To make a mouthwatering jackfruit kesari bath, you need the following ingredients:

-Ghee

-Chopped jackfruit

-One cup semolina

-One and a half-cup sugar

-Dry fruits like cashew nuts and raisins (Optional)

-Cardamom (Optional)

-Water, as required

How to prepare the dish?

-Take a pan, add ghee to it and let it heat for some time. After that, take the chopped jackfruit and semolina, add it to the heated ghee and fry it till the mix turns brown.

-When the mixture is roasted well, pour some water on it and leave it to cook. After the water evaporates from the mix, add some more ghee to it and turn the stove to low flame. Remember to keep stirring the semolina, so that no lumps are formed.

-When you feel the mixture is cooked, add sugar to it according to your preference. Stir the mixture until the sugar is completely absorbed in it. You can also add cashew nuts and raisins to enhance its taste along with some cardamom. These are entirely optional additions.

-So, when the water has dried out completely, the dessert is ready to be served and savoured.
