KOCHI: The Kerala High Court on Monday adjourned to Thursday the trial proceedings on a contempt of court proceedings initiated against CPM leader M V Jayarajan.  Linguist Dharmadan Adatt on Monday deposed before the Division Bench comprising Justice V Ramkumar and Justice P Q Barkath Ali that the words used by Jayarajan had different meanings in different contexts. The court will examine P N Narayanan, another Sanskrit scholar from Kalady Sanskrit University, on Thursday. During the course of trail, Jayarajan had submitted that the controversial words he used to refer judges in his speech originated from  Sanskrit.The court initiated contempt of court proceedings against Jayarajan for his remarks against the judges who pronounced judgment banning meetings at roads and road margins.
