TJAC wants Telangana decision on April 24

HYDERABAD: The Telangana Political Joint Action Committee has announced a series of agitational programmes to bring pressure on the Centre to declare separate Telangana state before April 24, the day Parliament session resumes.Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, TJAC chairman M Kodandaram said the Centre should announce new state on April 24. To exert pressure on the Centre, the T Political JAC, in association with other JACs, would organise the following programmes: Telangana Bus Yatra from April 10 to 22; a torchlight rally in Cherlpally industrial area on April 10; rallies and meetings in Chevella, Vikarabad and Tandur on April 11; leaders’ tour of Medak on April 12.
