HYDERABAD: A three-day educational camp is being held at the Nizam College grounds, organised by KAB Educational Consultants. The camp has been set up for students who are just out of high school and also appeared for the various entrance examinations like AIEEE, EAMCET and ICET. The fair was inaugurated by Home minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy, who gave away mementos to toppers of SSC exams. Many colleges and educational institutions have set up stalls and kiosks and students along with their parents were seen going from stall to stall, looking at the different courses and facilities offered by them. Courses ranging from hotel management to automobile engineering were on offer for interested students. “Earlier, we had to roam around and find about all colleges and courses they offered. But such fairs have made it easier to look at the various options available to my child. Such fairs help students just out of school to single out a course they might be interested in,” said a parent. Students who performed well in competitive examinations shared their views and how they prepared. They also talked about the support they got from their parents and the coaching classes which helped them to excel. The educational fair will conclude on Monday.
