Three persons died on the spot and few others were hospitalised with serious injuries in a road accident at Peddashapur locality in Shamshabad police station limits Thursday night.
The mishap occurred around 12.15 a.m. when an RTC bus hit an Alto car in which four persons were travelling.
“All the three victims were residents of Moinabad and Sriramnagar. Other details are yet to be known,” said Shamshabad sub inspector Srinivas.
Police suspect that the accident took place when the bus driver lost control when trying to overtake the car.
