The meeting will be looking at steps to further reduce the prices of steel, iron ore and metal.
On the food stock front the committee will be looking at whether there is a shortage of food grains in states even now.
Secretaries of Agriculture and commerce ministry will attend the meeting as well.
Recently the cabinet committee on prices had slashed duties on edible oil.
