Three indicted for Amity suicide
Three weeks after a 21-year-old Amity student committed suicide, faculty members of the Engineering institute are being hauled up.

New Delhi:The Delhi Police Crime Branch has registered a case against the Director, the Dean and a lecturer of the Amity School of Engineering and Technology - three weeks after a student committed suicide.

Harsh Khatri, a second year student of the college was allegedly marked absent for an exam he had taken.

His parents say his marks were wrongly awarded to another student Rohit Sachdeva - who never appeared for the exam.

They say their son argued in vain with college authorities for almost a year, before committing suicide.

The case against college officials has been registered more than three weeks after the incident - despite them being blamed clearly in the boy's 60-page suicide note.
