*Petrol Pumps to accept old Rs 500 notes till December 15

*Govt Hospitals to accept old Rs 500 notes till December 15

*Payment of School Fees Upto Rs 2000 allowed in Central Schools, State Govt Schools, Municipalities and local body schools

*Purchases at Consumer Cooperative Stores limited to Rs. 5000

*Toll payment at toll plazas may be made through old Rs 500 notes till December 15.

*Current payments and arrears for utilities using Rs 500 old notes limited to only water and electricity.

* Rs 500 notes can also be deposited in bank and post office savings accounts

The only thing that can be done with old Rs 1000 notes - deposit them in bank or post office savings accounts
