KCOHI: The students of Government Law College, Ernakulam, went on a strike in protesting the acute water shortage in the hostel for the past three days, on Thursday.“Despite our frequent complaints over phone, the Kerala Water Authority (KWA) is apathetic to the issue,” said Janardhan Shenoy, former college union general secretary.“There was no need for students to disrupt classes. A few students could have registered a complaint at KWA office,” said the principal.Held, ReleasedFour students of Government Law College, Ernakulam, were arrested and released on bail on Thursday.“When students stopped the private bus crew to who denied concession to two students on their way back from college on Wednesday and enquired about the concession issue the police arrested four students. In protest against the move, students staged a road blockade, said Janardhan Shenoy.
