Q. Ma'am could you please summarize the new admission procedure DU has started...like there is a common application form for all colleges,we write down our percentage and then our application goes to all the colleges having lower cut-off. Asked by: Parv

A. 1. Parv you have to fill up only one centralised OMR form for admission to all colleges except St. Stephens and JMC. 2.You have to apply separately for sports /eca and hostel in each/respective college. 3. You can also apply online using a debit/credit card. DU will send an SMS on submission of form. 4. This year there are no college names in the OMR form so do not worry on that...the form will reach each college where the particular course is being offered, 5. Apply for the course by darkening the circles. 6. Optional information includes Mobile number, Location of school, type of school, family income. All the best!!!

Don't you think Indians have become obsessed with marks, percentage and year gaps that their ability of understanding people and situations is diminishing? Asked by: pc aka @jpchat9

A. Do not be so much of cynic in this young age. Also do not genralise about Indians or any other global community. You have good and bad persons, thoughts, beliefs & convictions everywhere and at the same time -look around for good things in your social, physical and spiritual environment. I am convinced that there is lot of hope for all of us . Even for the students securing less marks, there is a great hope...just do not narrow your choice to few colleges and limited courses...go and watch the movie 3 idiots again along with people who are involved at present in the decision making while selecting a course or college in DU ...all the best!!!
