BANGALORE: Karnataka High Court on Monday extended the stay order on demolition of the ramp and compound wall of Mantri Square mall in Malleswaram by four weeks.
Further, the court extended the stay when the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) sought more time to file its objections. The Division Bench comprising Chief Justice J S Khehar and Justice H G Ramesh asked the BBMP to file its objections within two weeks and extended the stay on demolition.Mantri Developers, the promoters of the mall, had filed a petition in the court, challenging the BBMP's plan to demolish the ramp and the compound wall to widen Sampige Road.
