New Delhi: With police claiming to have solved the murder of TV journalist Soumya Vishwanathan, her family members today said they were happy with the investigation in the case.
“I am very happy with the investigation. Police has done a wonderful job. They are doing a proper investigation,” Soumya's father M K Vishwanathan said.
Vishwanathan said police has been keeping him informed about the progress of the investigation for the last six months and he has ‘full faith’ in them.
“I have full faith in their investigation,” he said hours after police claimed to have cracked the case.
With the arrest of four persons, police has claimed to have cracked the Soumya murder case and that of call centre executive Jigisha Ghosh.
26-year-old Soumya was shot dead on September 30 last year when she was driving home from her job as a Producer in a news channel situated in Jhandewalan office.
The TV journo, on her way back to her home in Vasant Kunj had made a call to her father at 3.15 am. She was found murdered soon after.
Investigations into the Ghosh murder case have led to the Soumya murder trail, police said.
