New Delhi: For fashion-loving teenagers who enjoy taking selfies but do not want the world to see, Sony has launched a unique perfume bottle-look camera that can be a perfect bag accessory. Named the Cyber-shot DSC-KW11, it has a "Beauty Effect" mode that can improve the appearance of skin tone and smoothness.
It also has "eye widening" and "face slimming" options so that users can tweak their appearance in photos, media reports said. The "cap" of the bottle is a wide-angle 21-mm lens that can swivel 180 degrees for easy self-portrait pictures.
Its 19.2 megapixels Exmor RS CMOS sensor is claimed to capture the finer details of your shot, while its F2 maximum aperture lens ensures that there is less noise on images, even when using the camera indoors or in other low-light environments.
The sensor is especially effective when shooting in low-light environments, Sony said. The camera has a 3.3-inch screen that can be swiped with a thumb to activate the timer mode.
Flick Touch Shutter is a new feature that lets users set up a self-timer by just tapping and flicking their finger towards the wanted delay timing and number of images on the screen.
Available in white, pink, green and violet colours, the $811 camera will be available in Asia-Pacific markets from October.
