New Delhi: The Modi fanphone, which was teased two months back, is now up for pre-order on the e-commerce site Snapdeal.com. Named SmartNaMo Saffron One, the phone is available in two variants - 16 GB and 32GB. The 16GB model is priced at Rs 18,000, while the 32GB model will come with a price tag of Rs 23,000.
Available in black and white, both models are up for pre-order on Snapdeal.com. You can pre-book the device by paying Rs 999 in advance. The website lists the release date of this dual SIM phone (GSM+GSM) as the 2nd week Of October. The 16GB model will come with 1GB of RAM, while the 32GB model will have a 2GB RAM.
Powered by a 1.5 Ghz quad-core processor, the SmartNaMo Saffron One has a 5-inch IPS touchscreen (1920 x 1080 HD) and runs Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean.
The smartphone has a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. It has Gorilla Glass 2 protection. The phone supports a microSD card and its memory is expandable up to 64GB.
