Six held for illegal possession of arms

Six persons were arrested from Bhopal for allegedly possessing illegal firearms, police said on Tuesday.

Police recovered three country-made pistols, three revolvers, besides a motorbike from the accused yesterday during the special drive launched ahead of the November 25 Assembly elections.

The accused are identified as Raj Uike (20), Yogesh Kumar Ahirwar (19), Shubham Pawar (19), Babar Ullah Khan (19), Ubedullah Khan (25) and Deepak Gaur (20).
