New Delhi: After Jade Goody, it’s model Danielle Lloyd’s turn to face the music. One of the alleged tormentors of actress Shilpa Shetty in UK television show Big Brother along with Goody, Danielle been questioned by police in connection with the racism row.
Goody and Jo O'Meara, who were also accused of making racist barbs against Shilpa on the show, are to be questioned next.
Twenty-three-year-old Danielle spent around three hours with two officers from Hertfordshire Police at the meeting at her solicitor's office in central London.
Lloyd now plans to go on a long holiday to get away from the controversy, a tabloid, Daily Express, quoted her as saying.
The former Miss Great Britain, who is said to have split from Premiership football star Teddy Sheringham, said she wanted to sort herself out.
Meanwhile, 27-year-old O'Meara has issued a public plea for understanding, claiming her life has been "totally shattered" by the Channel 4 show and apologized for any hurt she had caused to Shilpa saying "I am genuinely sorry."
Last week, Goody, after facing criticism across Britain and India, had been found to be suffering from depression and was admitted to the London Priory Clinic.
