Sheikhpura: Unidentified miscreants loot Rs 5 lakh from jeweller in Golden Chowk area

A jeweller was robbed of Rs. 5 lakh by unidentified miscreants from the Golden Chowk locality in Bihar's Sheikhpura district on Monday, police said.

The miscreants lifted the bag containing the cash and decamped while the jeweller Shrawan Verma was trying to open his shop after keeping the bag on the ground, the Superintendent of Police (SP) Minu Kumari said.

A case has been lodged in this connection and dog squad and finger print experts were called in to investigate the matter, police said.
