KOCHI: Justice V R Krishna Iyer has said that e-toilet project should be implemented at all schools across the nation. Inaugurating the e-toilet at Government Girls High School here on Friday, Justice Iyer lauded the efforts take by P Rajiv MP for launching this initiative using MP fund. Iyer said that women face privacy issues while going to public toilets. E-toilet is the only possible solution for the issue, he said. “Many people face health problems owing to unhygienic toilets. Hygienic toilets are a huge relief for people,” he said. P Rajeev MP said e-toilet, a first in schools all over India, is something all Kochiites must be proud of and they must uphold the hygienic values. He said that hygiene and cleanliness is of utmost importance in one’s life, especially at schools. The e-toilet was set up in the school as part of the Suchi@School campaign launched by P Rajiv MP. Mayor Tony Chammany and Deputy Mayor Badra Satheesh spoke on the occasion.
