BS Bassi will succeed incumbent Neeraj Kumar who retires on July 31.
New Delhi: BS Bassi, Special Commissioner of Police (administration), will be the new Delhi Police Commissioner.
Bassi, an IPS officer of the 1977 batch, will take over from Aug 1, 2013, according to an order issued on Tuesday.
Bassi will succeed incumbent Neeraj Kumar who retires on July 31.
