Selection of judges questioned

HYDERABAD: A division bench of the High Court comprising justice G Raghuram and justice G Krishna Mohan Reddy on Tuesday admitted a writ petition questioning the ongoing selection process for appointing district judges in the state.Sai Kalyana Chakravarthy, an aspirant to the district judge post, moved the court stating that the authorities had erred in altering the criteria midway. In a related petition, another aspirant contended that as the new set of rules were not published, they cannot be given effect to.
