KOCHI: More than nine lakh scholarships were distributed to students belonging to minority communities like Gowda Saraswath Brahmins, Kudumbi and Vysha Samaj by the Narmada-Dayanand Kamath Endowment Fund under the aegis of Anugraha Charitable Trust. Over 190 students were benefited by the scheme. “Students should accept and face the challenges in life even if they are denied the liberty of getting their choice of career due to many reasons and that is the real success of life,” said N Kantha Kumar, former CMD of Syndicate Bank while inaugurating the scholarship distribution function.Prof R V Kilikar, chairman of Anugraha Education Board; A S Shenoy, management consultant; S R Kamath, administrator and Payyanur Ramesh Pai, president, Kerala Konkani Academy, conducted a seminar for the beneficiaries. R Bhaskar Shenoi, N M Pai, C S Naick, S G S Baliga, Devanand Kamath, Adv Vasantha Kumar, N Suresh, N S Naveen representing various organisations were also present.
