SBI two-day council begins in Hubli

HUBLI: The two-day 11th triennial general council of State Bank’s Staff Union (Karnataka) commenced here on Saturday. Eminent economist Prof Prabhat Patnaik delivered the key-note address during its inaugural.Inaugurating the council, Karnatak University Vice- Chancellor Prof H B Walikar opined that luring public to obtain loans for enjoyment or celebrating festivals is a wrong policy.All-India State Banks’ Staff Union Federation president Sanjeev Bandlish was among those present.
