Mitra was admitted to SSKM Hospital on Thursday, after he complained of shortness of breath.
Kolkata: The director of the state-run SSKM hospital, where West Bengal Transport Minister Madan Mitra, who was served with a CBI summons for interrogation in the Saradha case was admitted, on Saturday said he cannot say if Mitra could withstand the rigour of questioning.
"I met him and he is very exhausted due to various medical tests. He is in a position to speak, but taking the strain of interrogation is very different," Pradip Mitra, SSKM director, said.
"Only the doctors could say that once medical reports are received. I cannot say that," Mitra said.
