New Delhi: After teasing for quite some time, Samsung has finally unveiled its new device - Galaxy J - a cross between the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 in Taiwan. According to SamMobile, the phone will be available between mid-December and early January for 21,900 TWD ($740) off-contract, or for 7,990 TWD ($270) on carrier contracts with a 1,343 TWD ($45) fee every month.
The Samsung Galaxy J is powered by a Snapdragon 800 CPU coupled with 3GB of RAM, and features a 5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display. It has a 13-megapixel camera, 32GB of storage and a microSD slot.
The phone is packed with a 2600 mAh battery, and runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. It is more or less a Galaxy Note 3 inside a Galaxy S4-sized body. Its launch in other markets isn't certain.
The phone will be available in red and white colours. The blue variant will remain exclusive to Japan.
