Sales tax official gets HC bail

KOCHI: The Kerala High Court on Tuesday granted anticipatory bail to Jayananda Kumar, Assistant Commissioner of Sales Tax, an accused in the Nano Excel money chain case.The petitioner was granted bail on a solvent security of `25,000 and two sureties of the like amount. The court asked him not to leave India without prior permission of the Magistrate and to report before the investigating officer every Sunday till the final report in the case has been filed.
