HYDERABAD: Major industries minister and Hyderabad district in-charge minister J Geetha Reddy has said that the state government is expected to allot Rs 1,000 crore towards infrastructure development of Hyderabad. This was disclosed by her at the Hyderabad District Review Meeting held here on Saturday.Participating in the meeting MLC MS Prabhakar said that 30,000 to 35,000 Bangladeshi nationals have been illegally staying in Hyderabad particularly in the Old City and many of them even obtained ration cards through fake identities. Strongly objecting to the remarks of the member, MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi said it is the police who have to clarify the issue.Additional commissioner of police (Land O) Amit Garg said many Bangladeshis were illegally staying in the city. Some had been identified and efforts were on to identify the rest, he said.
