KOCHI: Leading public sectior technical consultancy organisation Kitco Limited on Wednesday declared a dividend of 25 per cent for the year 2010-11 on paid-up share capital. This was announced at the 39th annual general meeting. Addressing the shareholders, at Kitco chairman A X Joseph said the company maintained its excellent growth record with a turnover of Rs. 23.39 crore. “A French company which is actively involved in international port-based projects has approached Kitco for a tie-up. The newly formed financial services division of the company will be providing consultancy services for project and credit appraisals,” Joseph said. “Kitco is spreading its activities to more countries in the West Asia. After the development of Ghala Went Worth Golf Course, in Muscat, the company has been awarded the electrical works of Tihama Power Plant, Saudi Arabia. More Golf course projects in the Gulf countries are in the pipeline,” he said.Besides the Titanium Sponge plant that made India the seventh country in the world that produces the metal, the company last year could launch more projects like the Spices Parks and Vyttila Mobility Hub. Joseph said the company reinforced its presence in the aviation sector too. “The new international arrival block at Karipur International Airport is the latest airport project the Aviation Division of Kitco has taken up, while Kitco continues to be the consultant for the expansion works of Cochin International Airport,” he said.
