Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana in Himachal Pradesh have been aided by the scheme with benefits of around Rs 64.37 crore.
Shimla: Over 1.43 lakh smart card holders registered under Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana in Himachal Pradesh have been aided by the scheme with benefits of a total of around Rs 64.37 crore having been extended to them.
The scheme provides for cashless benefits and 2,816 patients have received critical care treatment under it, claiming a cumulative Rs 12.97 crore in medical expenses, an official release said.
Three hospitals IGMC Shimla, PGIMER Chandigarh and Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, Tanda have been empaneled under the scheme for providing cashless critical care, it said.
The treatment expenditure under critical care is directly reimbursed to empaneled hospitals by the State Nodal Agency, it said.
