New Delhi: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has expressed grief over the death of Rajya Sabha member Sumitra Mahajan.
Sixty-seven-year-old Sumitra died at of a hear attack at Apollo hospital in Delhi on Friday night.
She was admitted at the hospital following abdomen pain, and had been operated upon twice earlier.
The wife of late Om Prakash Mahajan, a former Haryana minister, Sumitra was elected to Rajya Sabha on Indian National Lokdal (INLD) ticket in April 2002.
She was associated with several religious and social organisations.
She is survived by two sons and three daughters.
