Railway University Admissions 2018 have begun and as per reports, the varsity has received over 3500 applications in just one day from candidates seeking admissions to 80 seats in B.Sc and BBA courses.
The country’s first Railway University, whose idea was helmed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014 got its approval last year.
The flagship session of India’s first Railway University will be initiated at National Academy of Indian Railways (NAIR) in Vadodara, Gujarat. The classes of the first session are scheduled to begin in August 2018 and the varsity has set a cut-off percentage of 55% for admissions.
The last date to apply for Railway University Admission 2018 for various UG and PG Courses is 30th June 2018. Therefore, candidates must apply for the course they wish to pursue on or before the last date.
The Railway University will take over the existing 300 training institutes under the Ministry of Railways to present an upgraded model of education on all transport related streams and programmes. The varsity will be specifically active in Research work for upgradation of the Indian Railways and Transport system.
