Probe against Unniyadan

THRISSUR: The Thrissur Vigilance Court on Saturday ordered a probe against Irinjalakkuda MLA Thomas Unniyadan and 11 others  in a case related to the misuse of `75 lakh in the  development of Kole land canals. Enquiry Commissioner and Special Vigilance Court Judge  V Jayaram ordered the Vigilance Director to produce the FIR of the inquiry into the case on or before November 9.According to the petition filed by Madayikkonam Mupparathil M V Raju, former president of Poraithisserry panchayat, the  amount was allotted in advance to contractor Thaliyath Kuriyan for the development of KLDC canal in Kole lands in 2003.
