New Delhi: Along with Indian President Pranab Mukherjee, chief guest for Republic Day US President Barack Obama will watch 25 tableau from 16 states and Central ministries and departments on January 26.
The tableaux depict the diverse and vibrant nature of India and will be rolled down on Rajpath. India will showcase its military might, varied cultural diversity, development in Science and Technology and economic strength.
The tableau in component comprises of 16 states and nine Union Ministries/Departments. Each tableaux depicts its own story to portray themes ranging from Heritage, culture, art and crafts, biotechnology, sustainable agriculture and environment.
More than 1400 artists, fabricators, designers and visualisers living in the special artist village are involved in the making of these tableau.
