New Delhi: The body of a class eighth student of Oxford public school, Ranchi, who went missing on the February 13 was recovered from a water tank factory by the police.
The police had to resort to lathicharge to control an angry mob that had gathered outside the factory from where the body of the abducted 14-year-old boy was exhumed.
At least six persons, including policemen, were injured in the clash. The police is questioning the accused and investigations are on.
The arrest and confessions of one of the accused — Ganpat — from Munger in Bihar had led to the recovery of the boy's body on Saturday morning, police said.
Efforts were on to nab one Monti, who took the boy to the factory and locked him up in a room there on February 13.
However, the two grew nervous when they saw public reaction the next day, leading Ganpat to hit a fatal blow on the abducted boy with an iron rod. They buried the body in the factory premises.
