BANGALORE: Karnataka Lokayukta Justice N Santosh Hegde, a well -known name for fighting and eradicating corruption, inaugurated Krupanidhi Cambridge International School and participated in the vibrant cultural events. “It is time for all to wake up and put an end to corruption. It is we who encouraged corruption and it is we who can end corruption,” Hegde said. He further added: “It is difficult to change the mindset of the elderly people’s community in the society. But, one can effectively encourage and instigate the young generation to fight against corruption. It is hard to expect development without eradicating corruption.”He advised the students to “cultivate an attitude of fighting against corruption with commitment and for their satisfaction”.Students performed a vibrant dance event on the theme “We will never participate in corruption and never encourage anybody to”, and with the colourful dance they promised the society that they will raise their voice against corruption. “We would not allow corruption go unchecked in the country. We will neither give nor take bribe. We will not encourage this practice,” the students pledged.Antony D’souza, director of the school said: “Justice Hegde is cleaning up the society of all its social evils, corruption being the major evil.”
