Planning Commission meet from June 10

BANGALORE: The Planning Commission has organised a twoday consultation meet in Bangalore from June 10 to elicit the views of state governments and public on the approach to the 12th fiveyear plan which would begin from 2012.
The meeting will be attended by chief ministers, planning ministers and officials of all southern states. On June 10, Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission Montek Singh Singh Ahluwalia would inaugurate the meeting besides giving an introductory address. An interaction with civil society groups representatives of urban and rural local bodies and statelevel business associations from southern states will be held the next day.
