Pazhavanthangal murder: 4 surrender

CHENNAI: Four men surrendered at the Poonamallee Court on Tuesday in connection with the murder of a history-sheeter at Pazhavanthangal on Saturday.The suburban police had planned to detain the four for inquiry. Police said Seetharaman, Rajesh, Kannan and Appunu surrendered for the murder of Babu of Burma Colony. Meanwhile, ‘Bomb’ Ganesan, an accused, who was admitted to the Stanley Hospital after public caught and beat him up, was remanded. An Alandur court magistrate visited him and later remanded him. He  will reportedly be taken to prison after recovery.
