Party hoping starts in poll-bound Kerala
George claimed that thousands of party workers from various parts of the state were getting ready to join KC(S).

Kochi: State secretariat members of Kerala Congress(Joseph), MP George and Khader Kannur on Tuesday said they have decided to resign from KC(J) and join PC George led-Kerala Congress (Secular) party, a splinter group of the former party.

Addressing a press conference in Kochi, George, former Ernakulam District president of former Union minister PC Thomas led-Indian Federal Democratic Party (IFDP), which had merged with the KC(J) nine months ago, said they are resigning from the party because there was no organisational freedom inside it.

Khader had also been the state president of National Labour Federation.

The former IFDP workers who had joined KC(J) are not happy with the functioning of KC(J) leadership, he said.

George claimed that thousands of party workers from various parts of the state were getting ready to join KC(S).

Subash Themmanimattam, Kerala Youth Front, State Vice President, Karshaka Congress State Secretary Chandrasekharan Nair, Youth Front District General Secretaries Elias Varghese, Jobin P Kurien and Biju Mattanchery were also present at the conference.
