Pak says India did not help them procure evidence against Saeed.

New Delhi: Pakistan is blaming India for the release of Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed.

Pakistani Foreign Ministry sources have told CNN-IBN that they could not provide evidence in court because of what they called the non-cooperative attitude of the Indian government.

They said they wanted to visit the scene of crime but India did not respond.

Sources in Pakistan also said that if India helps them, more evidence can be procured even now.

On May 6, Lahore High Court extended by 60 days the house arrest of Hafeez Saeed, before setting him free on Tuesday, June 2.

A three-judge review board of the Lahore High Court ordered the continued detention for 60 more days of Saeed's associate Col (retd) Nazir Ahmed but ordered the release of two others.
