Understanding of God God is the creator of everything. I feel there is a mutual understanding between god and me. He directs and I follow. In his eyes, all are equal — there is no rich or poor, educated or uneducated. All humans are dependent upon him in some way. He is present everywhere and always.Religious beliefI was born a Hindu and brought up in quite an orthodox family. But as a person, I have always believed in Christianity. Jesus Christ inspires me a lot. He came to this world for us, suffered a lot on our behalf, took responsibilty for us and finally died on the cross to redeem us from our sins. I believe in him and pray to him every day.Spiritual belief I believe that our souls live forever. So it is essential that we refrain from sinning.Favourite pilgrimage spot I have been to Velankanni and many churches across Chennai. I have wanted to visit Christianity’s Holy Lands - Israel and Palestine for long. I want to make a pilgrimage to the places where Jesus Christ was born and brought up — Bethlehem, Jerusalem. And I want to visit these places during Christmas. Take on meditation Meditation consists of practices that regulate and monitor the human body, mind and soul.
