DAVANGERE: The Opposition is hatching a conspiracy against Union Minister S M Krishna and former chief minister Dharam Singh by accusing them of being involved in illegal mining, said KPCC president G Parameshwar here on Sunday.“The Congress high command will not protect any person or leaders involved in any scam.Let those who have accused Krishna and Dharam Singh prove their involvement.We will recommend legal action without any hesitation,” he said.The KPCC president added that those with vested interest were trying to malign Krishna who had acted as per rules and was not involved in any illegal mining.Referring to D K Shivakumar and MP Tejaswini’s quarrel, Parameshwar said“We have told them to sort out their differences and not fight in public.We will soon take steps to correct their stands.” “The Congress is confident of winning the MLC elections,” Parameshwar said .
